After a while we were performing every weekend once or twice. From Groningen in the north of the Netherlands to Terneuzen in near the Belgium border. Which meant for one gig of say an hour and a half you would be away for 4 to 8 hours. Always was a hassle. Being in time for a sound check, eating take aways in the dressing room, getting the booze (wich was a contractual agreement), after the sets getting clean and dry, collecting the fee, deviding the money (always unsatisfied group members). But when we were on stage nothing could go wrong. The band rolled on, just like a train.

I quit the band after a year and a half, at the hight of public success. We even had radio and television coverage, and a video clip we once made for the (vinyl) single `Do the Zoo'.
