A logotype is a piece of type with several uncombined characters cast upon it, the Collins English Dictionary says. Well, to me a logo (short for logotype) is a graphic symbol - whether type or picture - which stands for a product, a brand, a company, an activity or whatever which needs a visual or graphic identity. When it works it's good.

Vinyl covered the developments in early 80's pop music other magazines refused to write about. The magazine was characterized by its layered, experimental and changeable lay-out. Each issue appeared different in design and typography. As the experimental music of Cabaret Voltaire, Einstürzende Neubauten and Joy Division sounded in the those days.
