It is a truly cute animal which anyone in Europe will recog- nize. It is, so to speak a big water- mark. Nice for children too. It refers to totally nothing, just to itself."

To him the European Monitary Union isn't threatening. "I am not scared that our cultural identety will get lost. The Union only has got to do with economical factors. To me is that whole European Union quite vague."
